God of War III trailer confirmed to be real-time [UPDATE]

We have a new and extremely impressive God of War III trailer, but is it real-time?

The computer says..."Yes!"

David Jaffe was nervous that the community wouldn't be as impressed by the PlayStation 3 game as he was, but after you watch the trailer below you might be seeing things his way.

A SCEA representative contacted the MTV Gaming blog to let them know that the trailer's action is indeed taken from real-time gameplay.

The lack of orbs that usually release from killed enemies might have been removed from the PS3 game entirely in order to give the game a more realistic feel, or instead they might have just been removed just for the action trailer.

[UPDATE] - When we asked for a comment on whether the trailer was real-time or not from Sony ourselves, a representative replied:

"Confirmed. There was no post-work done on the trailer."

There you have it, the trailer is real-time, no arguments and you can watch it right here at Gamezine.co.uk
